That was fast. Diablo III officially comes out today for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and already someone has posted a way to dupe items in the PlayStation 3 version. By cleverly manipulating the user accounts on the PlayStation 3, a Diablo III PS3 dupe is already rampant, though it’s safe to say its effects won’t be as harmful as it would be on the PC version.
The console versions of Diablo III lack an auction house, and more importantly, a Real Money auction house. Which really means players are just ruining the game for themselves by duping items. But hey, at least it’s an easy way to share gear between friends when you’re all sitting on a couch slaying the demons of Hell.
