It’s hard to believe that Civilization VI will be eight years old this October, but the long-running franchise is finally getting a new entry. Civilization VII officially made its debut at this year’s Summer Game Fest, with the game’s full reveal coming this August. Set to launch sometime in 2025, Civilization VII is in development for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Mac, Linux, and PC. Unfortunately, the official teaser trailer doesn’t reveal much other than confirming the game’s existence. We’re excited to see how the team will evolve the legendary 4X strategy game as we prepare for another few years of convincing ourselves, “just one more turn.”
