In its more than 20-year history, Call of Duty has never released back-to-back Black Ops titles. That’s all going to change, as the team has officially revealed Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which is in development by Treyarch and Raven Software. Set in the year 2035—40 years after the events of Black Ops 6—Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 takes players to a world that’s on the brink of chaos, thanks to the events of Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6. Armed with cutting-edge technology, David Mason will be leading the Black Ops team to fight back against a manipulative enemy who weaponizes fear above all else.

As usual, the game will offer a campaign that can be completed solo or co-op, a multiplayer experience with brand-new maps, and the next chapter of Round-Based Zombies in the heart of the Dark Aether. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is currently slated to launch later this year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Of course, it will be available day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
