This year, Blizzard is celebrating its 35th anniversary and plans to do so in style. With BlizzCon returning on September 12-13, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center, fans of Blizzard franchises can’t wait to hear what the company has in store for 2026. We’ll get a look into each of Blizzard’s franchises soon, as the team is starting off 2026 with the Blizzard Showcase, a series of developer-led spotlights with big announcements, sneak peeks, and teases across Blizzard’s universes. A short trailer released today, titled Blizzard: The Next Chapter, features approximately 400 physical pieces that honor the moments, releases, and memories from Blizzard Entertainment’s beginning to now.

As for the showcases, it all starts on January 29 at 9:00 AM Pacific (12:00 PM Eastern) with World of Warcraft State of Azeroth. Then, on February 4, an Overwatch Spotlight will take place at 10:00 AM Pacific (1:00 PM Eastern). The Hearthstone Spotlight follows on February 9 at 9:30 AM Pacific (12:30 PM Eastern), while the Diablo 30th Anniversary Spotlight will be the final broadcast in the Blizzard Showcase, set for February 11 at 2:00 PM Pacific (5:00 PM Eastern). All of the presentations will be available on each franchise’s YouTube or Twitch channels.
