The Bioshock Infinite Burial at Sea DLC will be two to three hours in length, Irrational Games’ Ken Levine and Andres Gonzalez revealed during a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA). The pair also revealed that the first part of Burial at Sea is set in pre-fall Rapture and will feel quite different in many ways. The second half of the DLC will be much more traditional in format to how we know the underwater city. As for the length, two to three hours isn’t bad for the Burial at Sea DLC, but Levine did say it is obviously dependent on how much the player wants to explore. One guy apparently spent five hours checking out Rapture and some people have spent less – those that weren’t interested in the story.
Most importantly though, the experience in Rapture is more open than Infinite, according to Gonzalez. Which means players will be able to explore the city with plenty of optional content to explore and see, according to Gonzalez.
