Larian Studios has pulled the cover off the Baldur’s Gate 3 Physical Deluxe Edition and those who already own a digital copy of the game might still want to open their wallets and get a second copy. Set to ship in the first quarter of 2024, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, the Physical Deluxe Edition features an original three-CD game soundtrack, a double-sided map, 32 stickers, patches, a Mind Flayer poster, a physical game disc, and a collectible box styled after the original series.
Baldur’s Gate 3 and Larian Studios have already taken home seven awards at this year’s Golden Joystick Awards, and is poised to win more hardware at The Game Awards 2023 where it’s nominated across eight categories. In my review of Baldur’s Gate 3, I said that I believed Baldur’s Gate 3 will will likely be Game of the Year for many, since it successfully draws in an entirely new audience to a genre that many considered very niche.
