These days, Xbox Game Pass is such a great deal that if you’re an Xbox gamer, it’s basically all you need. But not every single game makes its way to Game Pass and every now and then, you need to take advantage of a good sale to get that game you really want at a discount. The Xbox Spring Sale is currently running from now until April 20. Below, you’ll find our picks of the best Xbox games currently on sale, if you’re having a tough time sifting through all 700+ games.

10. Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 has definitely seen some significant improvements since its bumpy launch, and it’s worth a playthrough now if you’ve been waiting patiently. The 50% discount is a bit disappointing though, as Cyberpunk 2077 has been cheaper than $29.99 in the past. However, with the success of the anime show on Netflix and the Phantom Liberty DLC arriving sometime this year, it may not be available for much lower for a while.

9. Batman: Arkham Collection

Batman: Arkham Collection

The Batman: Arkham Collection, available for $8.99, is one of the best deals during the 2023 Xbox Spring Sale. If you’ve been holding out on playing Rocksteady’s Arkham Trilogy games, do yourself a favor and grab this collection. It includes Batman: Arkham Knight, Batman: Return to Arkham – Arkham City, and Batman: Return to Arkham – Arkham Asylum. The bundle also includes an extensive list of add-ons that are mostly skins.

8. Control Ultimate Edition

Control Ultimate Edition

Control is such a unique experience, and one of the most interesting games I have ever played. It’s an unforgettable experience with clever gameplay elements and a story that will keep you confused. The Ultimate Edition is on sale for $11.99 and includes the Season Pass with two expansions, The Foundation and AWE. This is one of those games I highly recommend everyone experiences at least once, just because of how different it is.

7. Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6

Ubisoft’s latest Far Cry game is discounted to $14.99 during the 2023 Xbox Spring Sale. It’s not the most substantial discount, particularly for an Ubisoft game, but it is close to its historical low of $14.39. Ubisoft has to cover Giancarlo Esposito’s costs somehow!

6. Hot Wheels Unleashed

Hot Wheels Unleashed

Hot Wheels Unleashed was one of the biggest surprises of 2021 for me, adding a fresh spin to the racing genre, which is getting rather dull. If you still haven’t had a chance to play it, the $9.99 price tag is well worth it. It’s an entertaining and enjoyable racing game that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

5. Hazelight Bundle

Hazelight Bundle

If you have someone to play co-op games with, the Hazelight Bundle for $19.79 should be at the very top of your list. It includes A Way Out and the award-winning It Takes Two, which even took home the coveted Game of the Year award. The best feature about this bundle is that your co-op partner doesn’t need to purchase the games to play with you. Only one person needs to own it!

4. Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Yakuza games have ben gaining popularity in the West and 2020’s Yakuza: Like a Dragon is one of my favorites of the franchise. It takes things in a different direction than previous Yakuza games with a fresh new formula. At $17.99, I highly recommend it for RPG fans.

3. Ori: The Collection

Ori: The Collection

If you have somehow managed not to have played both Ori games in all this time, you have really been missing out. This collection includes Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition and Ori and the Will of the Wisps; both are award-winning games with spectacular soundtracks and beautiful art. Of course, the gameplay is excellent as well. At $9.99, this collection is one of the best deals during the 2023 Xbox Spring Sale.

2. Mass Effect Legendary Edition

Mass Effect Legendary Edition

I admit it, I was one of those who didn’t experience the Mass Effect trilogy until the Legendary Edition was released. I tried numerous times to play the first game upon its release, but I just couldn’t get into it. The remastered Legendary Edition, however, was an entirely different story. I finally understood why this franchise is so beloved. So, if you, like me, have gone all these years without playing Mass Effect, the $14.99 price tag might entice you to try it.

1. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition

With the Star Wars Celebration and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on the horizon, I couldn’t resist featuring LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Galactic Edition as the top game and deal available during the 2023 Xbox Spring Sale. But at $31.99, it actually isn’t the cheapest game you can get, but it does include a wealth of DLC in addition to an already massive game. The Galactic Edition includes the base game and both Character Collections, giving you access to familiar faces from The Mandalorian series, The Bad Batch, Rogue One, Andor, The Book of Boba Fett, Rebels, The Clone Wars, and more.
