If you’re part of the group who thinks the PlayStation Pro 5 isn’t worth the $699.99 price tag, you might be happy to hear that the standard PlayStation 5 Slim is currently available with a $50 discount. The Digital Edition can be had for $399, while the Disc Edition is $449. This is the best deal we’ve seen on the PlayStation 5 console since last year’s Black Friday, and it’s very unlikely the price will drop lower this year.
The console originally released in 2020 before the Slim model hit the market in November 2023. The more powerful PlayStation 5 Pro launches this November, boasting an upgraded GPU, advanced ray tracing, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR), and AI-driven upscaling technology. PlayStation is also celebrating its 30th anniversary with a retro-inspired console and accessories lineup, but those won’t be available at a discount.
