NetherRealm Studios is revealing more about Mortal Kombat 1, which recently underwent its online stress test. The latest trailer, titled “Official Lin Kuei Trailer”, not only shines the spotlight on Sub-Zero and Scorpion, but also introduces a fan-favorite character joining the lineup. The trailer also unveils several new Kameo Fighters who can be summoned into the fight with a push of a button.

We got our first look at the gameplay of Mortal Kombat 1, a reboot of the storied fighting franchise, during Summer Game Fest 2023. It focuses on a reborn Mortal Kombat Universe, created by Fire God Liu Kang, and ushers in a new era complete with a revamped fighting system, game modes, and Fatalities.

Mortal Kombat 1 is set to launch on September 19 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
