Persona 3’s highly anticipated remake, Persona 3 Reload, made its official debut during Xbox Games Showcase 2023 in June, although it was accidentally announced early by Atlus West’s social media team. During the Persona 3 Reload panel at Anime Expo 2023, the English gameplay was revealed, giving us our best look yet at the cast of Persona 3 Reload.

No specific release date for Persona 3 Reload has been announced, but it is expected to launch on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC in early 2024. The game is skipping the Nintendo Switch, despite rumors of the opposite floating around the internet.

The original Persona 3 was released in 2006 and mostly flew under the radar. The Persona series, in the U.S., didn’t really get popular until Persona 5. It appears Persona 3 Reload will draw significant influence from Persona 5, featuring a more stylish presentation than the original.

Between this and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, early 2024 is already shaping up to be a great year for JRPG fans.
