Most people have the Epic launcher for one of two reasons: Fortnite and free games, or possibly both. But for those who are building a library and buying games on the Epic Games Store, you now have access to the Epic Rewards program to earn 5% back in rewards on every eligible purchase. Epic Rewards, which launches today, May 18, is free to join and does not require a separate sign-up. In fact, all Epic Games account holders will be enrolled in the Epic Rewards program at purchase point.

Basically, users will automatically earn 5% back anytime they purchase games, apps, add-ons, or virtual currency on the Epic Games Store. And yes, that includes V-Bucks. The rewards get added 14 days after completing the purchase and once a user receives the rewards, they can be applied at checkout to get a discount off future eligible purchases. The rewards can be combined with other discounts and coupons, but they do expire 25 months from the date they are added to the user’s account.

Subscriptions are also part of the program, but users will have to accept the latest version of the Epic Games Store End User License Agreement in order to earn rewards on an active subscription.
