This might be the biggest surprise yet for Xenoblade fans this year. Xenoblade Chronicles 3, one of the best games I’ve ever played, is getting its final DLC next week. Titled Future Redeemed, the story DLC is set before the events of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Players will join a cast of new and familiar characters in an original story scenario that will connect all three Xenoblade Chronicles games.

Like Xenoblade Chronicles 2’s wonderful Torna The Golden Country DLC, Future Redeemed will feature new battle mechanics, including the Unity Combo, where two characters can attack in unison. Hopefully, the story DLC is as lengthy and enjoyable an experience as Torna The Golden Country was.

In addition, the Pyra + Mythra two-pack amiibo figures will be released on July 21. By scanning the Pyra amiibo in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, players can change the appearance of Noah’s sword when he’s using the Swordfighter class to match Pyra’s Aegis Sword. When scanning the Mythra amiibo, the sword’s appearance will match Mythra’s Aegis Sword. Nintendo also announced Noah and Mio amiibo figures, and more information on those will come in the future.
