With Evo Las Vegas around the corner this weekend, PlayStation has given its wireless fight stick a name: FlexStrike. Set to launch in 2026, the wireless fight stick was announced during the June 2025 State of Play and will be compatible with PlayStation 5 or PC via a wired USB-C connection or wirelessly via PlayStation Link. The fight stick features mechanical switch buttons and toolless, swappable restrictor gates—all of which fit in the built-in storage compartment along with the included PS Link USB adapter and USB-C cable. The FlexStrike also comes with a sling carry case for easy transporting to a local tournament.

PlayStation 5 owners can take advantage of PlayStation Link to connect the FlexStrike and a Pulse Elite wireless headset or Pulse Explore wireless earbuds simultaneously. The FlexStrike ships with an updated USB-C–compatible PlayStation Link USB adapter, and one adapter can connect two FlexStrike sticks at the same time to a single PlayStation 5. PlayStation also mentioned that a DualSense wireless controller can be connected at the same time as the FlexStrike, so it can be used for navigating menus between fights.

With numerous fight stick options on the market, the FlexStrike boasts a unique ergonomic design with angled surfaces and a non-slip base for a firm foundation. Obviously the styling is heavily inspired by the PlayStation 5 console, and it sports all the same inputs found on the DualSense controller, including a touchpad. Users will be able to switch directional inputs with a built-in lever mode switch, or lock in the layout to prevent accidental inputs during a match through the dedicated lock button. Once synced, the FlexStrike can also be used to wake up the connected PlayStation 5 console.

Unfortunately, Evo attendees won’t get to try the FlexStrike, but it will be on display at the Fight Stick Museum and the Arc System Works booth. The booth is also where players can try the new MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, making its playable debut at the tournament.
