The upcoming MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, developed by Arc System Works in collaboration with PlayStation Studios and Marvel Games, will feature six playable characters at the Arc System Works booth during Evo Las Vegas. This will be the first playable experience for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, which debuted last month during State of Play. The 4v4 tag team fighter is slated for a 2026 release. Those attending Evo Las Vegas from August 1 to August 3 can check out six playable characters: Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Star Lord, Ms. Marvel and Doctor Doom.
The team will also host a Developer Combat Panel featuring key members from the development teams at Arc System Works and Marvel Games. Happening on August 1 at 8:00 PM Pacific (11:00 PM Eastern) on the Evo Showcase Stage, the developers will share new details on the core gameplay mechanics. Of course, it’ll also be livestreamed on YouTube.
“This is Sekine, Director of MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. I’d like to express our thanks on behalf of the entire development team for the incredible response to the State of Play trailer,” said Game Director Kazuto “Pachi” Sekine. “The game is still under development, but we’re really looking forward to sharing more in our Evo panel, and especially for fans to try it out for themselves with the very first trial version at the event. My hope is to ‘Assemble’ with all of the players and create an amazing game together. We’re trying out many new things to offer a fresh experience. I can’t wait to hear your feedback and thoughts.”
