The Chinese Room has announced Still Wakes the Deep: Siren’s Rest, a story expansion launching on June 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at $12.99/£9.99/€12.99. The expansion comes exactly one year after the base game’s launch and requires Still Wakes the Deep to play. The developers highly recommend completing the base game first to get a complete picture of the story. For those who haven’t had a chance to play the BAFTA award-winning narrative horror game; it’s currently available at 50 percent off, and Siren’s Rest has a 15 percent pre-purchase and limited-time launch discount.

Still Wakes the Deep tells a story of the Beira D oil rig off the coast of Scotland. The base game takes place in 1975, as players fight for their lives through a vicious storm in the dark, freezing North Sea waters. The first-person narrative horror game comes from the team behind Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, and Dear Esther.
