Nintendo San Francisco, the brand’s second store in the U.S., will open its doors to the public on May 15, 2025. That day will be nearly one year to the date from when the store was originally announced. Joining Nintendo New York in the U.S., Nintendo San Francisco will be located in Union Square at 331 Powell Street. The store will offer a shopping experience packed with Nintendo’s characters and worlds, from accessories to apparel, home goods to souvenirs. There will even be products that are exclusive to Nintendo San Francisco.

Those who want to be among the first visitors to the new location can enter the My Nintendo x Nintendo San Francisco Sweepstakes. Using 10 Platinum Points per entry, My Nintendo members can earn up to five entries into the sweepstakes. One winner will receive a four-day, three-night trip for themselves and up to two guests to San Francisco. The trip will include round-trip economy air transportation, three nights of standard hotel accommodation (single room), ground transportation to and from the airport and hotel, a $500 VISA gift card, and $100 Nintendo San Francisco shopping credit. The winner and their guests will also get a personal tour of the new store. If you’re planning to enter, make sure you’re able to travel between May 12 and May 19, 2025, if you win.
