Originally announced in 2022, Silent Hill f resurfaced during today’s Silent Hill Transmission. Set in the 1960s Japan, Silent Hill f is being developed by NeoBards Entertainment, which has collaborated on Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, Resident Evil Re:Verse, and Resident Evil: Resistance. The team has also worked on Dynasty Warriors M, Marvel’s Avengers, and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The title is being written by Ryukisshi07, who is a Japanese visual novel writer known for the Higurashi and Umineko series. Also contributing to the project is Akira Yamaoka, who is responsible for many of the Silent Hill soundtracks.

Along with a new reveal trailer, Konami shared some details about the game, which tells the story of Shimizu Hinako, who lives in the secluded town of Ebisugaoka. Suddenly overwhelmed by fog, Ebisugaoka becomes a haunting nightmare as the town falls silent. Players will guide Hinako through the twisted paths of her hometown, facing complex puzzles and plenty of monsters.

Currently, Silent Hill f doesn’t have a release date, but it is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
