Well, that was quick. Dragon Age: The Veilguard is part of the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for March 2025, just a few months after its launch on October 31, 2024. Joining Dragon Age: The Veilguard in the lineup are Sonic Colors: Ultimate and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection. PlayStation Plus members will be able to add all three games to their libraries starting March 4.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard (PlayStation 5) is clearly the big surprise here. It’s the first mainline Dragon Age game since Dragon Age: Inquisition, which originally launched in 2014. It had a mixed reception after its launch and sales didn’t meet EA’s expectations. BioWare gave the game its last update earlier this year in January, and shortly after, the company shared a studio update saying it’s becoming “more agile,” which really meant layoffs. So if you’ve been interested in playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard and you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you no longer have to wait for a sale to embark on Rook’s adventure.
Sonic Colors: Ultimate (PlayStation 4) is the next game on the list, dropping players into six unique worlds where Sonic needs to free the alien race called Wisps. You see, Dr. Eggman is using these Wisps to power an interstellar amusement park, and Sonic doesn’t approve. It’s the Ultimate Sonic Colors experience, featuring upscaled visuals, a new game mode, enhanced gameplay, and various other features.
The third and final title is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5). This collection features 13 classic Konami TMNT games, enhanced with numerous quality-of-life features, including online play for certain games. For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans, this collection is a must-have, especially if you have friends to play with in local couch co-op.
