Yes, the Nintendo Switch 2 is on the way sometime this year, but that doesn’t mean Nintendo is going to simply give up on the current Switch. In fact, the console is close to selling 151 million units, making it possible that it could one day pass the PlayStation 2’s record of over 160 million. To appeal to new buyers, or perhaps those who never upgraded to a Switch OLED, there’s a new Super Mario Bros. Wonder bundle available for $349.99.
The bundle includes the Nintendo Switch OLED console with red and blue Joy-Cons, a digital version of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. Since the standalone Switch OLED costs $349.99, this bundle is well worth it. Super Mario Bros. Wonder is also a fantastic game to bundle with the console. In my review, I discussed how the game is packed to the brim with creativity and genuine fun, truly capturing what a video game should be.
Earlier this year, Nintendo gave us our first look at the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 console, but we won’t be getting all those details until the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct on April 2 at 6:00 AM Pacific (9:00 AM Eastern). Following the presentation, Nintendo will kick off a series of Switch 2 Experience events worldwide, starting with New York in the U.S. and Paris, France.
