Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes launched in April of last year as a 2.5D JRPG heavily inspired by the Suikoden series. Now, the game has shared a new roadmap confirming three story expansions, with the first one launching on February 27 focused on telling the story of Marisa. On March 13, players will get a chapter on Seign, and the final confirmed story expansion arrives on April 3, focused on Markus. According to developer Rabbit & Bear Studios, these three scenarios were the last parts that Yoshitaka Murayama worked on directly. The reason why it’s being called out is because Murayama unfortunately passed away in February 2023.
The company also provided an update for long-time backers regarding the delay in delivering rewards. The aforementioned Story DLC keys will be distributed in advance via The Yetee Hub, while the recipes and original measuring spoons are currently in production and will be mailed together with the original poster signed by core team members. The developer is working with The Yetee to oversee production of the remaining rewards and will be updating players in a future update.
In addition, Rabbit & Bear Studios announced a collaboration with Youtooz to launch a limited-time merchandise campaign that will include plushies and pins featuring Nowa, Marisa, and Seign. Depending on how well this campaign goes, there may be a future of more merchandise connected to the Eiyuden Chronicle universe. For those interested in supporting it, the preorder window is now open until February 20.
