Originally announced in August 2023, the highly anticipated Killing Floor 3 now has a release date. The next entry in the popular series is launching on March 25, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. From Tripwire Interactive, Killing Floor 3 is a co-op action/horror FPS that takes place in the year 2091, 70 years after the events in Killing Floor 2. Megacorp Horzine has now produced the ultimate army, featuring an obedient horde of bio-engineered monstrosities called Zeds. The first-person shooter has players take on the role of a Nightfall specialist and supports joining forces with up to five teammates.

For those who have played the previous Killing Floor titles, you know what to expect. The game promises to have the most lethal Zeds yet, as every enemy has been redesigned with smarter AI. To take down the updated Zeds, players will have an arsenal to enjoy, from flamethrowers to shotguns to katanas, all of which are fully customizable with hundreds of mods, gadgets, and skills to choose from. Finally, the M.E.A.T. System returns with even more realistic carnage, additional points of dismemberment, and persistent blood.

If you’re interested in checking out Killing Floor 3, the game is hosting a closed beta from February 20 to February 24. You can sign up here.
