Last year’s indie star, Palworld, is celebrating its first anniversary by sharing its future roadmap. The popular crafting survival game with creator collecting mechanics was a massive hit last year, setting records as it quickly garnered millions of players worldwide. Since then, the Palworld IP has partnered with various companies as they all try to get involved with what feels like a real Pokémon competitor. Speaking of Pokémon, Palworld and its developer, Pocketpair, are currently dealing with a lawsuit from Nintendo and the Pokémon Company. That’s not going to stop Palworld, though, as the game has a list of major updates players can expect while the team works toward the official release.
To give a glimpse of those updates, Pocketpair has released an updated future roadmap for Palworld. Major updates include co-op crossplay, world transfers for Pals, more content around the World Tree, an Ending Scenario, more ways to strengthen and improve Pals, more game collaborations, and various new content, including new Pals and technologies. Of course, Pocketpair will also continue to improve the current experience with updates to world object placement, base Pals, optimization, and UX.
As part of its first anniversary celebration, Palworld’s official soundtrack is now available for free on Pocketpair’s YouTube channel.
