If you’re excited about some games to play this holiday season, the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for December 2024 has been announced. All of these games will be available starting December 17 for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers; however, PlayStation Plus Premium members will also get access to several classic games and a PlayStation VR2 title. Leading the lineup is Sonic Frontiers, which originally launched in November 2022 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It’s Sonic the Hedgehog’s newest high-speed adventure, featuring open-zone platforming across five massive areas.

Next up is Square Enix’s Forspoken on PlayStation 5. Largely considered a disappointing game, Forspoken is an action RPG starring Frey, a New Yorker who has been transported to Athia. If you’re curious about why the game received the reception it did, you can download it on PlayStation Plus. Those who are planning family gatherings and want a party game can check out Rabbids: Party of Legends on PlayStation 4. Packed with multiplayer mayhem for up to four players locally, this is essentially Ubisoft’s version of Mario Party.

Racing fans can look forward to WRC Generations on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game takes players to the heart of the WRC championship with the latest cars from the series, including electrified hybrid models. The next title on the list is F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This diesel-punk exploratory platformer features intense combat and challenging puzzles in a world of anthropomorphic characters. Help Rayton the rabbit fight back in this unique game from TiGames.

Simulation fans can download Jurassic World Evolution 2 on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It’s the sequel to Frontier’s 2018 Jurassic World Evolution, letting fans build their ultimate dinosaur theme park. The game is set after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and includes voice acting by Jeff Goldblum and Bryce Dallas Howard. If you’ve been curious about the Coffee Talk franchise, both Coffee Talk and Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. These unique games have you listening to people’s problems and their stories, while serving warm drinks. Experience something new as you hear about a love story between an elf and a succubus, or an alien trying to understand human life.

For even more story-driven games, there’s A Space for the Unbound on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. This is a slice-of-life adventure game set in late 90s rural Indonesia, featuring beautiful pixel art. The game follows two high school sweethearts on a journey of self-discovery at the end of their high school years. If that sounds too heavy, maybe PHOGS is the game for you. Available as a PlayStation 4 title, PHOGS has you playing as a duo of dugs linked by a stretchy belly. It’s a puzzle-filled adventure game that supports single-player and shared-controller gameplay, along with local and online co-op. It’s interesting, to say the least. The final title in this month’s lineup for PlayStation Plus and Premium members is Biped on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It’s a co-op action-adventure game focused on real-time collaboration between two players who control Aku and Sila, two bipedal robots.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also have access to Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Those who own the PlayStation VR2 can download Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, possibly the best Star Wars VR experience available.
