By all accounts, Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been a disappointing game. The team has continued to support it with seasonal releases, but Season 4 Episode 8 will be its final. Scheduled to release in January 2025, the season will bring the final battle against Brainiac and all online features will continue to be available. For those who are worried about its future, an offline mode is being added as part of Season 4 Episode 7, which releases tomorrow, December 10. The offline mode allows players to experience the main story campaign and all seasonal story mission content without needing an internet connection. All earned and purchased cosmetics will be available in offline mode.

Season 4 Episode 7: Control adds Deathstroke to the Suicide Squad roster as a new playable character. The cold-blooded mercenary is known to fans as Slade Wilson and is considered one of the world’s deadliest assassins in the DC Comics universe. The season also adds Elseworld, inspired by DC’s Dark Knights of Steel comic book series from Tom Taylor with art by Yasmine Putri. This is a new Elseworld that completely reimagines Superman’s hometown of Smallville as a medieval village.

For weapons, players can look forward to Gorilla Grodd’s Infamy Set along with a host of new Notorious items, such as Brain’s Teaser and Talia Al Ghul’s Punisher. The Season 4 Battle Pass will be focused on the LexCorp family of Outfits, giving Deathstroke, Harley, Boomerang, and The Joker a set of high-tech outfits.
