Developer 11 bit studios has shared a roadmap for its latest title, Frostpunk 2, which includes a console launch planned for 2025. Following the game’s September 20 launch on PC, the developers have released numerous hotfixes and patches to address player feedback. As the team continues refining the Frostpunk 2 experience, it has shared its plans for the next year and beyond. Highlights include DLCs that will introduce entirely new elements to the world of Frostpunk 2. Currently, the DLCs are codenamed Spectrum and Aurora, with a third unnamed DLC planned for 2026. Alongside DLCs, the team is committed to providing free content updates and patches.

Patch 1.2 is on the way with gameplay and interface changes, and 11 bit studios will share more details soon. The company also reiterated its commitment to transparency about ongoing changes to the game. Expect updates to the roadmap and more details as the releases get closer.

Frostpunk 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to Frostpunk, a standout title in the city-building survival genre. The game quickly sold over 350,000 copies, achieving profitability shortly after launch.
