PlayStation gamers can finally see what all the hype is about with Palworld. The game made a surprise debut on PlayStation 5 today, revealed during the State of Play. With over 25 million players worldwide, Palworld is sure to grow that number as PlayStation 5 owners join the fun. By now, the game needs no introduction, having catapulted to the top of multiple charts with its remarkable launch earlier this year on PC and Xbox.

Palworld’s PlayStation 5 launch comes less than a week after Nintendo filed a lawsuit against its developer, Pocketpair, for patent infringement. The company issued a statement the following day, stating it is unclear what patents it has infringed upon. While this legal battle will likely be long and drawn out, it will be interesting to see what exactly Nintendo is targeting in Palworld.

We spent dozens of hours in Palworld during its Early Access launch and had many great things to say, though there was still plenty of room for improvement.
