During today’s Ubisoft Forward, two new trailers for Star Wars Outlaws premiered, one focused on gameplay, while another was a game overview trailer. The new gameplay showcase features Game Director Mathias Karlson explaining an expert quest in which protagonist Kay Vess works to sneak into Hutt territory on Tatooine. She starts by gathering intel about a gunslinger on Tatooine, but as she travels through space in the Trailblazer, she aids a Pyke Syndicate freighter that is under attack. By helping the Pykes, Kay’s reputation with the syndicate grows and that could open up other opportunities with them in the future.
After that diversion, Kay arrives on Tatooine and explores the iconic Mos Eisley in search of the gunslinger. Her intel ultimately leads to a Hutt Cartel storehouse, and since she has a poor reputation with the Hutts, she needs to find a way to infiltrate the area. A little bit of stealth action later and Kay finds the information she needs to locate the gunslinger: Sheriff Quint.
Star Wars Outlaws officially launches on August 30, but it can be played up to three days early with a Ubisoft+ Premium subscription or by preordering the Gold Edition or Ultimate Edition. The game is heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. You can watch both of the new trailers below.
