Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door will be released in less than a month, on May 23, 2024. Similar to last year’s Super Mario RPG, this remaster of the Nintendo GameCube game features updated visuals and some quality-of-life changes. Many consider The Thousand-Year Door as the best Paper Mario game and we are excited to revisit this gem when it launches next month. To get us excited, Nintendo has released an overview trailer that details Mario’s paper adventure as he sets off to find a legendary treasure. We learn more about his available partners, which include Goombella, Koops, Madame Flurrie, Admiral Bobbery, and more. The trailer also explains the turn-based combat system, which will be familiar to those who played Super Mario RPG in 2023.
