The developers behind both Ori games, Moon Studios, are preparing their next title, No Rest for the Wicked. Launching into Steam Early Access on Thursday, April 18, No Rest for the Wicked is a precision action RPG that aims to reinvent the genre. Despite being an Early Access title, it’s one of our top games to play in April 2024. In the game, players assume the role of Cerim, a member of a group of mystical holy warriors imbued with powers. They are dedicated to defeating the Pestilence, an unholy plague that has returned after a thousand years.
Moon Studios has released a brief Early Access roadmap for the game. Following its launch on Thursday, the first future update will introduce multiplayer, with up to four players for co-op and some form of PvP. The second confirmed update is called The Breach.
The game will be available at a special introductory price of $35.99 USD for a period of two weeks until May 2, 2024 at 9:00am Pacific (12:00pm Eastern). The game will not have any microtransactions and the single-player experience will not require an online connection or use any anti-cheat software.
