If you’re curious about the next game in the SaGa franchise, SaGa Emerald Beyond, Square Enix has announced that a demo will be released on April 4 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, and PC. The demo will be available on consoles starting at midnight local time, while the PC demo will go live on Steam at 9:00 AM Pacific (12:00 PM Eastern) on April 4. The game’s full release is set for April 25 and it will also be available on mobile platforms.

SaGa Emerald Beyond, the newest standalone entry in the franchise, features music from series composer Kenji Ito and artwork by Satoshi Kuramochi. The game offers six protagonists to choose from, who set off to explore 17 worlds filled with a diverse cast of races, ranging from monsters to mechs and even vampires. SaGa Emerald Beyond aims to expand on the free-form scenario the franchise is known for by offering players the greatest level of freedom to shape their own story.
