Despite battling server issues since its launch, Helldivers 2 has surpassed 400,000 concurrent players. Unfortunately, that number won’t be going past 450,000 anytime soon as the team at Arrowhead has placed a cap to further improve server stability. “Our team is working around the clock to solve these issues,” said Misty on Discord. “While we’ve been able to mitigate some of the causes, we are still struggling to keep up with the scaling that is needed to accommodate all our Helldivers.”

The game’s success places it currently 24th on the all-time peak list for concurrent players on Steam, making it PlayStation’s largest PC launch to date. Helldivers 2 has had more concurrent players on Steam than Grand Theft Auto V, Monster Hunter: World, Starfield, and Destiny 2, to name a few. Speaking of Grand Theft Auto V, you’ve got options if you’re looking to purchase GTA 5 modded accounts.

Helldivers 2 is the sequel to 2015’s Helldivers, which was a top-down, twin-stick shooter. Helldivers 2 is a third-person squad-based shooter that is heavily inspired by Starship Troopers.
