Gran Turismo’s next free update, 1.42, is scheduled to go live on January 24 at 11:00 PM Pacific (January 25 at 2:00 AM Eastern), adding three new cars, two Extra Menu Café Menus, a brand-new race event, and new Scapes. For many, the main highlight of the update is the addition of three new cars: BVLGARI Aluminum Vision Gran Turismo, Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept, and Suzuki Jminy XC ’18.

The BVLGARI Aluminujm Vision Gran Turismo is a digital concept car inspired by the iconic BVLGARI Aluminum watch from 1998. It features a barchetta body style, while the design combines pure and geometrical shapes that incorporates some references to ’60s and ’70s concept cars from Italian Carrozzeria. There is a slight catch, however, as this car is only free for owners of the BVLGARI Aluminum Gran Turismo Limited Model chronograph. Those watch owners will get early access ahead of the official February release, at which time it’ll be distributed as a Car Ticket each month beginning late January.

The stunning Genesis X Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept, embodying the luxury automaker’s athletic elegance, is available for purchase in Brand Central. Its design language is pure and muscular, sporting Genesis’s new front fascia with the crest grille and quad lights. Inside, the brand’s “Beauty of White Space” philosophy creates a purist environment, complemented by a digital panoramic interface. The hybrid race-spec drivetrain delivers 1,071 horsepower and 986 pound-feet of torque.

Finally, Japan’s mighty micro off-roader joins the Gran Turismo 7 garage with the Suzuki Jimny XC ’18. It too will be available at Brand Central and is a cross-country style 4WD model that Suzuki has been producing since 1970. Sure, the brand no longer sells cars in the U.S., but true enthusiasts will find the Jimny appealing. With the addition of this kei car, Gran Turismo 7 also adds the new race event, Jimny Cup to World Circuits. Update 1.42 also adds new Vision Gran Turismo Trophy races for two tracks, Tokyo Expressway and Autodromo Nazionale Monza.

The Extra Menus are number 34, Nissan Motorsports, and number 35, Dodge. In addition, players will find Service Area and Turn the Camera Vertically in the updated featured Scapes.
