Harmonix has announced the end of Rock Band 4 DLC, marking a conclusion to over eight years of weekly releases. In a blog post, Daniel Sussman confirmed that January 25 will be the final DLC release of the Rock Band 4 era. However, this doesn’t mean the end of Rock Band 4 support, as all other live services, including Rivals seasons and online play, will continue to function. Throughout the years, the team has cleared, authored, and released nearly 3,000 songs as DLC, with the total surpassing 3,000 when including all game soundtracks. Sussman emphasized that players can continue to play the songs they own in Rock Band 4 for as long as they wish.

The Harmonix team is now focusing on Fortnite Festival, a project that will support Rock Band 4 instruments in the near future.
