The next free update for Cult of the Lamb, Sins of the Flesh, is launching on January 16, 2024. This is the game’s biggest content update yet, adding quests, features, improvements, and a new evil resource that rewards leaders who are prepared to yield to the Sins of the Flesh. For starters, the free update introduces new progression systems, resulting in greater depth and complexity in managing the Cult of the Lamb. Players who choose to follow the sinful path will indulge their followers in gluttonous rituals, vain buildings, and wrathful doctrines. Also, there’s a revamped leveling system for Follower progression, allowing players to invite their most loyal followers to the inner circle of Disciples.

Overall Cult life has also been enhanced with shiny poop that provides special effects like yielding fruitful crops, and leveling up your broom will make chores faster and more efficient. Automation has also seen improvements, including a new tier for the Janitor Station and the Storage Structures, enabling Followers to take better care of themselves.

Sins of the Flesh also adds the new Blunderbuss weapon, which deals big damage in close quarters. Charging it up even more with a heavy attack allows players to snipe enemies from long range. There’s also a new Tailor building, allowing each cultist to wear their own outfit with 23 different styles to choose from. Finally, when two Followers form a close bond, they might discover an egg, leading to offspring that need nurturing and care until they’re ready to join your Cult.
