After numerous rumors and leaks, NVIDIA has confirmed the GeForce RTX 40 Super Series graphics cards, set to launch this January. The lineup includes the RTX 4080 Super, RTX 4070 Ti Super, and RTX 4070 Super, with all three GPUs being faster than their predecessors. The first to launch is the RTX 4070 Super, on January 17, with a starting price of $599. According to NVIDIA, it has 20 percent more CUDA Cores than the RTX 4070 and is faster than the RTX 3090.
A week later, on January 24, is the RTX 4070 Ti Super’s launch, starting at $799. It sports more CUDA Cores and memory, featuring a frame buffer increased to 16GB with a 256-bit memory bus. This GPU is rated to be 1.6 times faster than the RTX 3070 Ti and 2.5 times faster when using DLSS 3. Finally, the RTX 4080 Super will launch January 31 with a $999 starting price. The GPU is 1.4 times faster than the RTX 3080 Ti without frame generation, and with DLSS Frame Generation, it can be up to twice as fast as the RTX 3080 Ti.
Both the RTX 4070 Super and RTX 4080 Super will be available as a Founders Edition directly from nvidia.com.
