After a couple delays, Homeworld 3 is now officially set for release on March 8, 2024. As a fan who enjoyed both the Homeworld Remastered Collection and Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, I’m particularly excited about this upcoming space RTS. There haven’t been very many RTS games to get excited about in the past few years, so hopefully Homeworld 3 lives up to expectations.

Gearbox Publishing and Blackbird Interactive recently released a documentary that offers an insightful behind-the-scenes look at Homeworld 3’s development. Filmed at the studio in Vancouver, the documentary highlights key moments in the game’s development, including insights into its music, art, narrative, and game design.

Homeworld 3 launches on PC on March 8, 2024 and will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
