Fans of the fighting game genre have had a great year, with the releases of Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1. Now, before the year ends, players will get a preview of Tekken 8, with the demo launching on PlayStation 5 on December 14, followed by its release on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on December 21. Bandai Namco has announced that the demo will include the first chapter of Tekken 8’s story mode and a local versus fighting mode.

Set six months after the events of Tekken 7, the next installment of the popular franchise continues the saga of the Mishima family’s internal feud, with a particular focus on Kazuya and Jin. Tekken 8 is set to launch on January 26, 2024.
