It appears CD Projekt Red isn’t done with Cyberpunk 2077 just yet. Building on the momentum of Update 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty expansion, CD Projekt Red has announced that Update 2.1 is set for release on December 5, the same day as the release of Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition. A major highlight of this update is the introduction of a city-wide, fully functional NCART metro system, offering players a new, relaxed mode of transportation. Update 2.1 also introduces Radioport, a feature allowing players to listen to Cyberpunk 2077’s radio stations even when they’re not in their vehicles. The patch also adds new hangouts with romantic partners, as players will be able to invite their in-game significant other to enjoy some quality time together in V’s apartment.

In a detailed livestream, Senior Community Managers Alicja Kozera and Amela Kołat, along with Producer Monika Janowska and Quest Director Paweł Sasko, shared more details about Update 2.1. Players can also look forward to additional chases and replayable car races, a series of improvements to boss fights, new vehicles, new secrets, and technical improvements.

Set to arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.1 will be available free of charge to all current and future game owners.
