Along with the announcement of the Lenovo Legion Go earlier today, the company also revealed the Lenovo Legion Glasses, which I find the more interesting of the two products. Also set to launch sometime in October, the Lenovo Legion Glasses are being billed as a companion to the Lenovo Legion Go, but they are compatible with virtually any device with a USB-C port, including any Windows, Android, macOS, or iOS device.

They’re being described as “an advanced wearable virtual monitor with micro-OLED display technology that delivers high color and contrast range FHD (1920×1080) resolution for each eye with a 60Hz refresh rate, emulating the experience and functionality of a large screen that appears behind lenses only the user can see, and delivers high-fidelity audio via built-in speakers.”

The idea here is that instead of using the 8.8-inch screen on the Lenovo Legion Go, gamers can pair up their handheld PC with these glasses for a much more immersive experience without the need to occupy a TV screen or monitor. The glasses offer a portable, private, and large screen viewing experience in an easy plug-and-play solution.

They’ll have a $329 price tag at launch, which is a surprisingly competitive price tag.
