Persona 3 Reload is one of my most highly anticipated games. I absolutely loved the original and its variants, and the remake is shaping up nicely. The remake, set to launch on February 2, 2024, aims to blend some of the modern enhancements from Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal with the classic gameplay of Persona 3. A new trailer that introduces the cast of the game has been released and the remake is looking like everything I could dream of.

Visually, Persona 3 Reload looks stunning with its heavy influence from Persona 5. Still, it’s clearly Persona 3’s theme and style with a splash of color and contrast. What will be interesting is how much Persona 3 Reload sticks to the source material and how much gets changed for a modern audience. For those who were introduced to the Persona series with Persona 5 or Persona 5 Royal, you’re in for a treat. While the core gameplay of dungeon crawling might be somewhat outdated, a bit of refinement can go a long way in making the experience feel modern.

Persona 3 Reload is heading to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will be available on Xbox and PC Game Pass as a day one title.
