Revealed during May’s PlayStation Showcase, Ghostrunner 2 now has an official release date: October 26, 2023. That’s a day before the recently-delayed Alan Wake 2 and comes after a few other highly-anticipated releases including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Ghostrunner 2 is now available for preorder. Those who upgrade to the Brutal Edition can get 48-hour early access and other bonus features.

In announcing the game’s release date, publisher 505 Games has released a new trailer showcasing gameplay around cyber ninja protagonist Jack. The standard version of the game costs $39.99 and preorders include a pair of sword skins and hand skins.

The Deluxe Edition, available for $49.99, adds:

  • Four more hand skins
  • Four more sword skins
  • A personalized hand hologram displaying current username

At the top of the lineup is the aforementioned Brutal Edition, priced at $69.99. Along with the 48-hour early access, players also get the Season Pass that costs $19.99 separately. The Season Pass includes:

  • A new game mode
  • Four asset packs
  • An animated skin for the sword and hands
  • A motorcycle skin
