Earlier this year, the Final Fantasy VII Twitter (err… X) account asked its followers to vote for a Final Fantasy VII scene to be rebuilt as a LEGO Brick model. The community voted and the winner is the Sector 5 Slums Church. Now, we have our first look at the LEGO recreation featuring Cloud and Aerith in classic blocky form. If you want a chance at winning one of two LEGO Brick models, you simply have to follow the account, like the tweet, and retweet it from Final Fantasy VII’s official X account.
The entry period for the giveaway is August 4, 2023 at 2:00am Pacific / 5:00am Eastern to August 11, 2023 at 2:00am Pacific / 5:00am Eastern. A total of two winners will be selected through a random drawing and each winner will receive 1 LEGO build and both Cloud and Aerith character figures. Square Enix estimates the retail value of each LEGO build prize to be $150.
Winners will be notified within 30 days of August 11 via direct message on social media. If a winner doesn’t respond within seven days, they’ll forfeit the prize and a new winner will be picked. Square Enix has stated that the prizes will be delivered between November 30, 2023 and January 31, 2024.
