The gem crafting costs in Reaper of Souls have been significantly reduced as Covetous Shen has become quite the affluent NPC now that Diablo III’s expansion has gone live. For those logging into Reaper of Souls today, you’ll be surprised to see that Mr. Shen has reduced gem crafting costs across the board, with Flawless Royal gems now costing 16,200 gold instead of 500,000. The gem crafting costs for other tiers have also been reduced with Royal gems now costing 14,200 instead of 400,000; Flawless Imperials costing 12,200 instead of 300,000 and Imperial gems costing 10,200 instead of 200,000.
We’re not sure how long the reduced gem crafting costs will be, so take advantage of it soon since Mr. Shen will undoubtedly go back to his greedy ways.
