Noticeably missing when Yoshi’s New Island was released was the announcement of Yoshi joining the Super Smash Bros. roster. Yoshi fans need not worry any more however, as Nintendo has confirmed that everyone’s favorite green dino will be joining the next Super Smash Bros. game for the Wii U and 2DS, 3DS consoles. Yoshi will be standing upright on his two feet now for the latest iteration of the game, and Nintendo stated that it held off on the announcement until it was confident that Yoshi will remain a formidable competitor in Super Smash Bros.
