Almost a month has passed since the Video Games Live: Level 3! Kickstarter launched, and with 37 hours to go, the project has been completely funded. The award-winning, multimedia touring video game concert was seeking $250,000 so that it could record its third album in a studio, rather than using live recording.
Throughout the Kickstarter campaign, the team at Video Games Live has been updating it with confirmed tracks for Level 3! including music from Monkey Island, Street Fighter II, Skyrim, Journey, Shadow of the Colossus, Beyond Good and Evil, Tetris Opera, Silent Hill 2, World of Warcraft, Diablo III, and more.
The target release date for Video Games Live: Level 3! is February 18, 2014. The goal is to have between 15 – 18 tracks on the album.
