Originally introduced late last year, Capcom has dropped the price on its Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collection Set to $79.99 from a retail price of $149.99. The set is available for both the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 and includes a ton of goodies: past and present Street Fighter games, a two-disc Blu-Ray video set, a light-up Ryu statue, an 11-disc soundtrack, a 64-page hardcover art book, Ryu’s belt, and a certificate of authenticity.
The four Street Fighter titles you’ll grab with the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collection Set are Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Street Fighter III 3rd Strike Online Edition, Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition with all costume DLC, and Street Fighter X Tekken with all character and Swap Costume DLC.
The exclusive video set includes a documentary that highlights the impact that the Street Fighter franchise has had on the world, and also includes Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV anime movies in addition to all episodes of the Street Fighter animated series and Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie.
As for the light-up Ryu statue, it measures in at eight-inches tall and features the iconic Street Fighter character in mid-Shoryuken with flames lit from below. Ryu’s belt has been created to regulation specs and is a full-size martial arts black belt.
The 11-disc soundtrack comes with all the music spanning the franchise’s 25-year history and includes remixes of fan-created music. Similarly, the 64-page art book includes fan pieces submitted by professional and aspiring artists.
