Yesterday, the Reaper of Souls closed beta received a patch that introduced the new level 70 Hellfire Ring and Ubers to the game. Currently, the key drop rates are set to 100 percent along with the organ drop rates for testing purposes. Full Cleared decided to jump in and farm a full set of keys (four of each) and check out all of the Uber fights including the new Uber Diablo.

Since the drop rate on keys is set to 100 percent, we decided to farm the keys in Normal mode. The Uber fights however were done in Torment I difficulty. The following keys drop from the following acts in Reaper of Souls:

  • Act 1 – Key of Bones
  • Act 2 – Key of Gluttony
  • Act 3 – Key of War
  • Act 4 – Key of Evil

Once you obtain all four keys, you can craft one machine. There are a total of four machines now that open up four different Uber fights:

  • The Infernal Machine of Bones – Realm of Discord, Skeleton King / Maghda
  • The Infernal Machine of Gluttony – Realm of Chaos, Ghom / Rakanoth
  • The Infernal Machine of War – Realm of Turmoil, Siegebreaker / Zoltun Kulle
  • The Infernal Machine of Evil – Realm of Fright, Diablo / Random Uber Spawns

While the first three Uber fights consist of the same bosses as classic Diablo III, the new Uber Diablo fight has Diablo randomly spawning other Uber bosses throughout the pace of the fight. In our case, we saw Ghom and Rakanoth before the last phase spawned another Diablo.

The following items drop from the following Uber fights:

  • Skeleton King / Maghda – Leoric’s Regret
  • Ghom / Rakanoth – Vial of Putridness
  • Siegebreaker / Zoltun Kulle – Idol of Terror
  • Diablo – Heart of Evil

Once you obtain all four items, you are able to craft a new level 70 Hellfire Ring, which rolls random properties plus Increases Bonus Experience by 45% and Chance to cast a fire ring for 200% weapon damage when attacking. The animation for the fire ring is similar to Diablo’s fire ring, making for a pretty nice AoE attack.

You can see all four Uber fights and the new Hellfire Ring in action in the video below. We apologize for the lack of sound.
