New Nintendo 3DS StreetPass Games Net $4 Million in a Month

Last month, Nintendo updated its 3DS StreetPass Mii Plaza with touch-screen controls, a new layout, and four new games available for purchase. The four games, Mii Force, Flower Town, Warrior’s Way, and Monster Manor, are available for $4.99 individually or $14.99 for all four. In a recent interview with Tokyo Keizai Online, Nintendo president Satoru Iwatu revealed that those four games have netted the company around $4 million in about a month.

Mii Force, is a StreetPass games that allows Mii characters to blast their way through enemies to keep the galaxy peaceful, while Flower Town is a game where players can plant seeds in a virtual garden. When players StreetPass other players in Flower Town, their plants are watered and cross-pollination can lead to new breeds.

Warrior’s Way, has players using StreetPass to recruit troops in order to gather up an army to unify a country, and lastly, Monster Manor is where players collect Mii characters to bring new pieces of floor. Players can then use those pieces to create rooms, fights ghosts, and unlock treasure chests as they climb to the top of the mansion.
