Kinect Sports Rivals Preseason has been announced by Microsoft as a free trial sampling of the full game, which will be released in spring 2014. Kinect Sports Rivals was originally announced as a launch title for the Xbox One, but Rare and Microsoft decided to push development so that Rare could continue polishing the game further.

As a result, Kinect Sports Rivals Preseason will be launched on November 22 with the Xbox One console and will feature wake racing, exclusive in-game rewards and monthly multiplayer challenges through March 2014. Xbox One owners will be able to download Kinect Sports Rivals Preseason for free and those that download it between November 22 – November 30 will unlock the “Founder” player title, a wetsuit and a wake racer. Also launching on November 22 is the Kinect Sports Rivals Hub, where gamers can keep track of global competitive and local multiplayer challenges.

Kinect Sports Rivals will feature six activities once it launches next year: climbing, wake racing, soccer, target shooting, bowling and tennis.
