Hearthstone’s Test Season 2 of ranked play was supposed to kick off on January 2, 2014, but issues prevented that from happening. Community Manager Aratil has just posted an update stating that Blizzard believes it has identified and addressed all the issues that were preventing the team to transition to Test Season 2. The team is currently targeting to transition to Test Season 2 by the end of the week.
The new season will reset everyone’s Ranked Play rankings back down to 25 – Angry Chicken. Currently there are no rewards for the closed beta Test Seasons, but players will be rewarded with vanity card backs and Golden Heroes when the closed beta Test Seasons are over.
No balance changes or card changes have been announced yet.
